Daniel is a bilingual Marriage and Family Therapist who provides treatment in English and Spanish. He is passionate about supporting individuals, families, and couples through challenging moments in their lives. Daniel values the importance of the therapeutic alliance and is dedicated to ensuring a safe space and positive experience for all his clients. He is committed to meeting each of his client’s individual needs to support personal growth and healing. In leisure time, Daniel has interests in fashion, cooking, self-discovery, and self-development. He is also proud of his Queer identity and Latinx culture.

Daniel has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. His experience includes supporting clients through depression, anxiety, trauma, and life-transitions. Additional experiences include but are not limited to first-generation American issues, body dysmorphic disorder, gender dysphoria, and parenting/family issues. Daniel adopts an integrative and holistic approach to therapy and implements evidence-based practices such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MBCBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Structural Family Therapy.

Daniel earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University, Channel Islands in 2016. He later pursued and earned his master’s degree in counseling psychology with an emphasis in Marriage in Family Therapy from California Lutheran University in 2021.
