Molly (she/her) is a registered Associate Social Worker who is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where healing, learning, and growth can take place. She works with children, teens, and adults. Molly earned her Bachelor of Social Work from James Madison University and her Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her background includes supporting children in school settings, providing individual and group therapy for children, teens, and adults, and working with adults experiencing severe and persistent mental illness in community mental health. She has a passion for supporting individuals navigating stress, anxiety, depression, substance use, peer/family challenges, and life transitions.
Molly approaches therapy from a holistic, person-centered perspective, recognizing that the therapeutic process looks different for everyone. She values building a strong therapeutic alliance, incorporates humor when helpful, and honors each person’s strengths, lived experience, and preferences. She also enjoys exploring mind–body connections as part of the healing process.
Molly takes an integrative approach to treatment, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness practices to meet each client’s unique needs.
