Samantha (she/her/hers) is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who believes in the power of human connection and the resilience that emerges when facing life’s challenges. She fosters a friendly, empathetic environment where clients can heal through the use of a client-centered, culturally competent, and trauma-informed approach, tailored to each person’s individual needs. This approach helps clients feel heard and supported as they progress on their growth journey.
Samantha integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She understands that healing is a deeply personal journey and is committed to providing compassionate care that empowers clients to achieve their goals.
Samantha received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of San Diego and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She has experience working with adults, teens, and athletes, helping them build self-awareness, navigate difficult life transitions, and develop healthier relationships. Samantha supports clients in managing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and low self-esteem.
Samantha understands that life often presents us with storms of uncertainty and she is dedicated to supporting clients as they work toward a brighter, more fulfilling future.
