Deanna Bloom, MFT

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist #89989

Deanna is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been in the mental health field for over a decade. She earned her Master of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego.

Deanna works with families, teens, and adults, and is especially passionate about supporting clients navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, and major life transitions. She enjoys walking alongside clients who feel stuck or overwhelmed by change, helping them build the tools and insight needed to move toward the life they want.

Deanna is EMDR trained and draws from a range of modalities including ACT, CBT and Narrative Therapy to create an integrated, individualized approach to treatment. Deanna believes in treating the whole person rather than a single symptom or diagnosis, and she works collaboratively with clients to develop a plan tailored to their specific goals. Deanna is a bilingual Spanish/English therapist. She is deeply committed to culturally sensitive, inclusive care, and does not believe therapy is a "one-size-fits-all" treatment.

She takes the time to understand each client's unique background, challenges, and goals, creating a space of safety and support where clients can explore themselves and their world, build on their strengths, and let go of what no longer serves them. Deanna sees her clients as the experts in their own lives and views her role as a supportive guide on their path toward healing and growth.

Outside of therapy, Deanna enjoys spending time with her loved ones. She is a music lover and enjoys going to concerts, reading, being out in nature, and exercising.
