Kelly Williams, MFT
Clinical Director
Kelly Williams is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), clinical supervisor, and adjunct professor based in California. She brings over a decade of experience across community mental health and private practice. She earned her graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from San Diego State University.
Kelly works with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. She often supports high-performing professionals and those who spend much of their lives showing up for others, helping them create space for themselves in the process. These experiences inform her understanding of stress, resilience, and the impact of larger systems on emotional well-being.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive. Kelly integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR-informed practices, and postmodern approaches. She is grounded in cultural humility, approaching each client with curiosity rather than assumptions. She is especially attuned to how identity, culture, and lived experiences shape the therapy process. Her foundation of culturally aware therapy was born as a member of the BIPOC community and strengthened via working with the military, LGBTQ+ and disabled.
Kelly believes therapy is not about “fixing” people, but about finding a more manageable and meaningful way through life’s challenges. She creates a space where clients can feel seen, supported, and not alone in what they are navigating.
In addition to her clinical work, Kelly is passionate about supervising and mentoring clinicians. She is known for her grounded, thoughtful presence and her commitment to fostering strong clinical care and supportive environments.
