(Supervised by Katrin Seifert, PsyD #26257)

In the therapy room, Rayanna conceptualizes through an integrative and holistic therapeutic framework, primarily utilizing principles from Humanistic and Third Wave therapies, (i.e., Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Positive Psychology). She believes that individuals know themselves best and are the facilitators of their own life. The work she encourages in therapy is one-part present moment awareness to develop skills for managing daily stressors, and one-part willingness to do deep work and reflect honestly on client's life path, both past and future.

Rayanna also has a strong interest in psychodiagnostics and neuropsychological assessment across the lifespan, with particular focus on neurodevelopmental disorders (i.e., ADHD, ASD). She has experience in a range of clinical populations and settings, including adolescent residential, adult crisis house, UCSD outpatient clinic, neuropsychological private practice, and Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital in inpatient and intensive outpatient settings with children and adolescents. She has found a passion in working with children, adolescents, transitional age youth (18-24), and their families.

Rayanna Schnarr, (she/her) is expected to graduate in August 2026 from California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego at Alliant University and holds a Master of Science in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology from the University of East London, as well as a Bachelor's in Psychology and Sociology from Kean University.

Outside of work, Rayanna also has an extensive background in the practice and philosophy of yoga, completing a 200-hour Prana Yoga teacher training from the Princeton Center for Yoga and Health, as well as a 300-hour Advanced Prana Flow Yoga teacher trainer from Sonic Yoga NYC. She has taught yoga across the lifespan, within mental health faculties, and offered personal growth retreats through non-profit organizations for members of vulnerable populations. She enjoys spending time with loved ones, yoga, dance, sports and fitness, cooking, crafting, travelling, and spending time in nature.
