Our team of Psychologists and Masters' Level Clinicians provide counseling services and mental health treatment to individuals, couples, and families in a group private practice setting. We are currently hiring Licensed Clinicians to see clients in person at our Central San Diego office (Clairemont/Bay Park), La Mesa, Rancho Bernardo and Ventura locations, and Associate Clinicians at our Rancho Bernardo office. Hybrid (both in-person and virtual) schedules are also available.

 

We offer both full-time (27 - 30 clients per week), as well as part-time (15-20 clients per week) positions in our practice, allowing each clinician the flexibility to create their ideal schedule.

Clinicians at Positive Change Counseling Center are allowed and encouraged to see the clients with whom they most enjoy working within therapy. We believe that if you are focused on what you do best, clients will receive the best care possible - and it keeps our Clinicians happy too! Our practice hosts numerous continuing education programs, promoting the continued learning and growth of our Licensed and Associate Clinicians. Associates are provided with both individual and triadic supervision from experienced supervisors who are passionate about supporting a meaningful journey to licensure at Positive Change Counseling Center.

Our group is diverse in the varying clinical skills and specialties of each Psychologist and Therapist in our practice. We currently have a high need for the following clinical specialties: Anxiety, Trauma, Couples Therapy, Children and Adolescents and LGBTQ expertise. Training in evidence-based treatment is highly desired. Prior experience with high-risk populations is a huge plus. Applicants with other areas of expertise will also be considered, so please share with us what it is you love doing the most!
